ACTION ON HEARING LOSS
The Speak Easy Campaign was set up by Action On Hearing Loss to highlight the poor acoustic design of many leading restaurants and the impact this has on the level of comfort for customers, especially those hard of hearing. This scheme was a collaborative volunteer project undertaken by the teams at Blackpoint Design, WSP and Action on Hearing Loss and was the first commissioned project where we have designed the architecture, interior design and produced the imagery. WSP produced the acoustic analysis showing how integrating baffles into the architectural design prevents the reverberation and offers an effective solution.
